  Unknown       Tuesday, July 26, 2016

KARACHI: Police authorities are in two personalities over the claimed enemy of prestigious Qawwal Amjad Sabri.

On Sunday security powers seized Imran Siddiqui from Surjani Town range in connection to Amjad Sabri's homicide. Siddiqui is a representative of Karachi Municipal Authority and a political gathering laborer, police said.

However higher authorities in the office dismiss that Siddiqui was included in the homicide. They guarantee that as indicated by the geofencing report of the episode Siddiqui was not present at the wrongdoing scene nor did any of the witnesses distinguish him.

They included that the weapon utilized as a part of the wrongdoing was not recuperated from Siddiqui.

Extra IG Mushtaq Mehar said that the gathering required in Amjad Sabri's homicide case has been recognized yet no captures have been made yet.

Extra IG Counter Terrorism Department Sanaullah Abbasi said that solid proof against any gathering required in the homicide has not yet rose.

Examination sources assert that the case is being tested through four distinct points.

On June 22, famous Qawwal Amjad Sabri was gunned around obscure aggressors in Karachi's Liaquatabad region. Sabri was shot various times and succumbed to his injuries on his way to a nearby healing facility, police said.

Amjad Sabri, 45, was one of South Asia's most well known vocalists of the 'Qawwali', Sufi reverential music that goes back to over 700 years. He was the child of famous Qawwal of the 1960's, Ghulam Farid Sabri, and the nephew of Qawwali symbol Maqbool Sabri who passed away in 2011.

His fierce death came as a stun to practically everybody, with sympathies pouring in from inside, as well as over the outskirt too.

Thousands accumulated to offer his memorial service supplications the following day and the acclaimed Qawwal was let go alongside his dad Ghulam Farid Sabri in Paposh Nagar cemetery in the midst of tears and wails.
