
BERLIN: A bag blasted outside a vagrant gathering focus in southern Germany Wednesday, police said, including there was "no sign" there was a bomb inside. Nobody was harmed.
The impact happened around 200 meters (yards) from the inside in the Bavarian town of Zirndorf, where police were on the scene.
"There is no sign right now that a bomb was exploded in the bag," police said in an announcement.
"It is conceivable it was a shower can inside the bag that created the blast. Nobody was accounted for harmed."
The episode happened in Bavaria, where powers are anxious after three assaults in a one-week time frame.
On Sunday, a Syrian refuge seeker with suspected connections to Daesh (Islamic State bunch) exploded himself close to a music celebration in Ansbach, injuring 15 individuals.
Nine individuals were killed in a strip mall shooting spree in Munich on Friday, only six days after four travelers on a train and a bystander were injured in a hatchet assault in Wuerzburg.
Bavaria has been a passage for the flood of vagrants and exiles to Germany, which saw a record 1.1 million individuals arrive a year ago.
